Keyword Research – “Getting into the mind of the customer”
Keywords are in effect the predetermined phrases we believe the customer will type into the search engines when researching out services or products. These keywords form the structure of a page, supported by relevant well written content incorporating these key phrases.
To accurately research keywords one should empathise with prospects/visitors and seek behavioural drivers and build a “buyer profile”. This may seem obvious but it is all too easy to get hung up on your own jargon unless of course your customers share your jargon.
